Sonic the Hedgehog (1991 - 2012) was the main protagonist of the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series. He appeared in the video SONIC: Too Fast.

Sonic is trying to run very fast but was almost running in place and moving very slowly. Sonic repeatedly said various quotes such as "Yeah, gotta go fast" and "Run real fast". Tails then walked over to him asking if he needed help with something, implying his confusion with Sonic's running in place gimmick.
Sonic then performed a spin dash, launching him into space and into the sun
